Tasting Notes

Notes of black cherry, pomegranate, plum on the nose. On the palate it shows black raspberry, raisin, violet, cocoa, and a sweet tobacco finish. Bold style of wine with ageable characteristics. Can drink now or lay down.

Pairs With

Protein- Game meat like bison, ostrich, venison, bleu cheeseburger, roasted lamb, teriyaki Salmon,  Asado beef ribs, roast duck breast, Tri-tip, and spaghetti Bolognese.

Cheese- Manchego, gorgonzola, aged Gouda, Stilton, smoked Monterey jack, Pecorino, Abbaye du Belloc, Urdiña, Roquefort Papillon

Vegetables- Rosemary Potatoes, mushrooms, stuffed peppers, baked eggplant, baked ziti with tomato sauce, black bean chili.
