Tasting Notes

A hearty oak presence filled with notes of black cherry, dark cocoa, cherry, leather, and spice. The palate marries firm, integrated tannin with beautiful acidity, and luscious dark fruits. 

Pairs With

Protein– Roasted pork, beef wellington, Coq au vin, prime rib, veal parmigano, bolognese sauce. 

Cheese– Sharp cheddar, manchego, gruyere, provolone, Jarlsberg. 

Vegetable– Garlic bread, eggplant, red beets, squash blossoms, roast peppers, tomatoes, sauteed spinach.
